Rosianna Silalahi

Currently a Journalist, a wellknown SCTV Anchor, and Editor in Chief of Liputan 6 SCTV, an award-winning and prestigious news program. Preceeding her current posts, Rosianna was a Reporter/Presenter at TVRI. Joining SCTV, she has reported much exclusive news from the country's hotspots, including tribal war zone in Kalimantan, Ambon and Aceh. Her assignments have ranged from exclusive interviews with numerous leaders to reporting from the ground, which has also led her to becoming the most favourite news anchor winning Panasonic Award four times in a row. Rosianna conducted interviews with US President George Bush, President Jimmy Carter and President Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as the first Indonesian TV journalist. Rosianna earned her Bachelor degree in Japanese Literature from University of Indonesia, experienced CNN training and did a practical political exercise in London from Chevening Award sponsored by British Council. Rosianna represents Indonesia at many forums including investigative report in Manila by Philippine Centre Investigative Journalism (PCIJ) and Global Media Intermedia Dialog. During Indonesian 2004 election, Rosianna produced “Kotak Suara”- a program covering an in-depth story about money politics - and won an award from Indonesia Journalist Board.

M. Chatib Basri

M. Chatib Basri

A Director of The Institute for Economic and Social Research, Faculty of Economics, University of Indonesia (LPEM-FEUI) since 2005. Chatib is a Special Adviser to the Minister of Finance; Chatib served as President Yudhoyono's "sherpa" or personal representative to the recent G-20 Financial and Economic Summit in Washington November 2008;  a Member of Advisory Team to the Indonesia-Japan Joint Forum on Investment; a Member of Advisory Team to the Indonesian National Team on International Trade Negotiation; a Research Associate with the Indonesia Project, Economics Division, Research School of Pacific and Asian Studies at Australian National University; and a Member of Forecasting Panel, Pacific Economic Outlook Forecasters. Chatib lectures for Faculty of Economics at University of Indonesia; has acted as a consultant to the World Bank, the OECD, the Aus Aid, the USAID  and UNCTAD; and has written many publications and articles on economy since early 1990's. Chatib earned his Bachelor degree in Economics from University of Indonesia, a Master degree in Economic Development and Ph.D. in Economics - both from Australian National University. He is largely-known for his expertise in international trade, macroeconomics and political economy.

Bambang Susantono

Bambang Susantono

Dr. Susantono is the President of Indonesia Transport Society and serves as a Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development at the Office of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs. He is also the VP of the East Asia Society of Transportation Studies (EASTS) based in Tokyo and member of the Board of Trustees of the Southsouth North Foundation in Johannesburg. Dr. Susantono wrote several books and articles and teaches at the graduate program of engineering at the University of Indonesia. He is an alumnus of the Civil Engineering Department at the Bandung Institute of Technology; holds a Master of City and Regional Planning (MCP), a Master of Science in Civil Engineering in the field of Transportation, and a Ph.D in Infrastructure Planning - all from UC Berkeley.

Harry is an Executive Director to PT Danareksa (Persero) since 2005. Prior to this role, Harry served as Deputy Treasury Manager of PT ASEAM Indonesia (19981-1989); Director of PT Bina Tatalaksana Pacific (BT Pacific, 1989-1991); Director/Vice President of PT BT Prima Securities Indonesia - a joint securities company with Bankers Trust (1990-1995); President Director of PT Sinarmas Securities (1995-1999); Trading and Listing Director of Jakarta Stock Exchange (1999-2002) and Listing Director of Jakarta Stock Exchange (2002-2005). Harry earned his degree from the University of Indonesia’s Faculty of Economics, majoring in Accounting.

Shoeb Kagda

Shoeb Kagda

Shoeb has been in the media industry for more than 20 years, starting his journalistic career with the Singapore Business Times. He had reported on various regional and international issues and formed deep insights into the forces that have shaped Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia over the past two decades. In 2006, he left the Business Times to launch Globe Asia, Indonesia's first English language business magazine. Apart from his role as editor in chief of Globe Asia, he also sits on the editorial board of the newly launched Jakarta Globe, the country's newest english language morning daily. Shoeb earned his BA from Indiana University in the US, majoring in Journalism and Political Science with a minor in Economics.
