Betti Alisjahbana
Betti is a businesswoman who has over 20 years experience in Information Technology . In 2008, she founded Quantum Business International, a company that focuses on the creative industry such as Architecture Designer and Developer, Online News and Digital Content Provider. She started her career at IBM in 1984 as a management trainee and since then held several key positions in Indonesia and in ASEAN Region which eventually lead her to be the CEO for IBM Indonesia from the year 2000-2008. She was the first woman in Indonesia and the Asia Pacific region to hold the company's Country General Manager position. Her other activities include Chairman, Association of Open Source Indonesia, Vice Chairman, National Research Council, Member, Board of Trustees Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). She is a visiting lecturer at the School of Business and Management, ITB and an active professional speaker specializing in leadership topics suchas Corporate Entrepreneurship, Talent Management, Woman Advancement, Innovation and other Motivational Topics. Betti earned her Bachelor of Architecture from the Bandung Institute of Technology and has attended various leadership training and workshop in USA, Japan and Australia during her tenure in IBM.
