Dr. Susantono is the President of Indonesia Transport Society and serves as a Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development at the Office of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs. He is also the VP of the East Asia Society of Transportation Studies (EASTS) based in Tokyo and member of the Board of Trustees of the Southsouth North Foundation in Johannesburg. Dr. Susantono wrote several books and articles and teaches at the graduate program of engineering at the University of Indonesia. He is an alumnus of the Civil Engineering Department at the Bandung Institute of Technology; holds a Master of City and Regional Planning (MCP), a Master of Science in Civil Engineering in the field of Transportation, and a Ph.D in Infrastructure Planning - all from UC Berkeley.

Currently the President Director & CEO of PT. Bakrieland Development Tbk. Preceeding this role, Hiramsyah had several senior positions at a number of institutions including Bakrie Capital Indonesia, Bakrie Nirwana Resort, Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional (BTPN) and Bank Niaga. Throughout the last 15 years, many awards for outstanding performance have been extended to companies under Hiramsyah’s leadership; and not a few have been awarded for Hiramsyah’s excellent performance, including Outstanding Entrepreneur Award 2008 – Asia Pacific Entrepreneur Award 2008; Rising Star CEO, Potential CEO Category – Business Review Award 2008; and ‘CEO of The Year 2008’ nominee by Bisnis Indonesia. He is largely-known for his specialties in Property, Crisis Management and Leadership, as well as Turn-Around CEO.
