The Partners
Lin Che Wei is a Partner in Speaker Exchange Indonesia. He is the Founder of Independent Research & Advisory Indonesia (www.irai.co.id) – a company which focused on research and advisory work to improve decision making and public policy. He was Chief Executive Officer of Putera Sampoerna Foundation (PSF), a professional philanthropic organization dedicated to improving the quality of and access to education in Indonesia. Prior joining PSF, he was formerly the President Director of
PT. Danareksa (Persero), a state-owned investment banking company and the Special Staff for the Coordinating Minister of the Economics (Investment Climate, Capital Market & State Owned Enterprise), Expert Staff for the State Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (Policy Analysis). His specialties among others are Capital Market & Investment and Monetary & Banking. He held numerous positions in the investment banking industry such as SG Securities in Singapore and Indonesia, Deutsche Morgan Grenfell and WI CARR, both in Indonesia.
Lin Che Wei is a member of Panel 45, a panel of experts to assist President of the Republic of Indonesia. He is a weekly columnist at The Jakarta Post (www.thejakartapost.com), while his past articles can be found in various newspapers and magazines. He received a degree in Industrial Engineering from Trisakti University, an MBA degree from the National University of Singapore and completed a Private Equity and Venture Capital Program developed and delivered by Harvard Business College in 2006. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Lilis Setiadi is a Partner in Speaker Exchange Indonesia. She was the Director, Head of Sales of PT. Schroder Investment Management Indonesia – the largest Indonesian fund management company that achieved its top ranking first time in 2005 and sustained that till early 2008, all within Lilis’ 4.5 years heading the mutual funds sales division. Prior to that, she was the Head of Sales, Global Securities Services of Deutsche Bank AG Jakarta for 4 years. She started her career at PT. Lippo Bank Tbk. as Head of Marketing, then Investor Relations Manager of Investment Banking Group, before she sat as Head of Sales of PT. Lippo Investment Management. She specializes in Sales and Personal Finance & Investment Consultancy.
Lilis Setiadi is a writer for financial and investment topics for Femina Group (including Pesona, Cita Cinta, Seventeen magazines), the largest female print media in Indonesia. She is the columnist for Uang dan Belanja in Femina magazine. Her past work can be found in www.femina-online.com. She also does mutual funds investment counseling and contributes articles via PortalReksadana (www.portalreksadana.com), a mutual fund community and education media. Lilis is completing her book on Women, Money & Investment that will be published in 2009 by Elex Media (Kompas-Gramedia Group). She received her Bachelor of Science in Marketing and International Business from Oklahoma State University, USA.
